Grandchildren are a gift from God that require care and stewardship. The longing of our hearts is to grandparent well. This can be difficult at times. We may have a history of hurts and dysfunctional patterns to deal with. To get answers we ask advice from those who have been grandparenting longer than we have been. We pray and ask God for guidance. We take time to discuss and reason things through. Gathering to study as a group of grandparents can make available the wisdom of those who have had more or different experiences.
